Our Team

Jose and Madelyn Rivera serve as Senior Pastors at Promise Church, where their pastoral journey began in 2016. Before leading Promise Church, they established La Vid Verdadera subsequent to initiating and guiding a Latino Ministry at Monmouth Worship Center. Married since 2000, they are blessed with four children. Pastor Jose holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Pillar College (formerly Somerset Christian College), while Madelyn earned a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership from Rowan University and serves as the worship director. Both share a deep passion for family and strive to ensure that everyone who enters Promise Church experiences the love of the family of Christ.

Pastoral Care

Pastor Corey and Jacqueline Jackman have been integral members of the leadership team alongside Pastor Jose and Madelyn since 2005. With a wealth of experience, they now play a crucial role in overseeing Pastoral Care. Their focus is on empowering and supporting all leaders within this ministry, offering guidance through training, mentoring, and advice. The genuine love they hold for God and people is evident in their dedicated service.

Executive Pastor

Pastor Xaymara has played a crucial role at Promise Church, working alongside Pastor Jose and Madelyn since 2015. With a background in finance and a degree in accounting, she brings extensive knowledge to the team. Taking charge of the church's various budgets, Pastor Xaymara's stewardship has been instrumental in bringing numerous projects to fruition.
